Why, hello there! Thank you for following the progress of my Easter Sewing Project. Here you can see that I've pressed and pinned the pillow back panels.
I chose bright spots and stripes, because I quite fancy colourful pillow backs.
It's a pleasant surprise when you turn them over, don't you think? After this,
I top-stitched them and added a pair of buttonholes and buttons.
Now, here's the fun part! I attached a darning foot to my sewing machine and began free-motion stitching around the bunny appliqué in a pale lavender thread. As you can see, my stitching went a little wiggly on the ears. Woops! Well, I did say this was the fun part, didn't I? So let's not fret about it!
I always finish off my sewing projects with a Wolf and Willow label and I thought this was a rather nifty photo to finish with, as I'm just loving the egg yolk yellow stripes. Stay tuned for the free sewing pattern...
