Hi Toffee readers! It has been so much fun getting to be this issue's cover girl, and I was so excited when Nancy asked me to share some more goodness for you here on the blog!

After 5+ years of being self-employed, hopping from jewelry maker to design blogger to shop owner and now marketing/PR coach, the one consistent lesson through it all is that success in your business, in so many ways, comes down to one thing: your mindset.

I'm learning more and more that the way we think about ourselves and our business is what can either make us, or break us. We all have the ability to be great successes and truly make living at what we love (I'm proof!) but in order to do so, our mindset has to be in a certain place.

And I think one of the things a lot of us dread the most about running our own creative business, and trying to make a living from what we love to do, is putting ourselves "out there", marketing ourselves and trying to figure out the best ways to get the word out about what we're doing.

So, I made a special little podcast for you sharing a few tips on how to get in the mindset for marketing in order to make it not only easier to tackle, but something you actually want to do. You'll learn 4 subtle shifts you can change in your thinking to start feeling more comfortable and confident about gettin' out there!
